The first time I went to India I was 16 and although my mom was a little hesitant to let me go I’m so glad she did. I don’t think I could ever learn as much as I did on that trip. My eyes were opened, I saw things I had never seen, smelled things i’ve never smelled and had the time of my life doing it. I returned again the year I graduated right before my 18th birthday. On my second trip I brought suitcases full of art supplies, and about a 100 disposable cameras. I handed the cameras out and just let the kids go crazy. I desperately want to do this again and maybe one day teach a class there. But for now we will take a walk down memory lane and show you some of the pictures from that trip in 2008 taken by the children at the home I was working at. One day I will write more about those trips…but I don’t have the time today. Here are a few of my favourites taken by the children.
